Cleaning & Care
It's actually quite simple, please check the care label on our clothes before washing to ensure their longevity.
For all Walk products you must note the following:
Walk, also called virgin wool, is a natural fiber.
Like sheep's fur, new wool partially cleans itself. Washing is therefore not necessary that often.

Cleaning of fulled products
Dry dirt
Trockener Schmutz lässt sich oft leicht ausbürsten oder einfach abklopfen. Eine spezielle Bürste ist bei uns im Shop erhältlich.
Festsitzender Schmutz
If the dirt is stubborn, you can wash it by hand at 30°C (hand-warm water) using a wool detergent or soap.
Airing for freshness and against small stains
Airing on a clothes hanger also helps with small stains directly in the fresh air after rain or in the bathroom after showering when the humidity is particularly high.
Schone deine Produkte
Not suitable for washing machines or dryers. Do not iron or bleach.
Dry cleaning, all solvents except trichloroethylene.
Dry lying down, preferably on a flat, dry towel. If necessary, tug the clothes into shape beforehand. Wrinkles will disappear when aired.
The properties of virgin wool
What makes Walk so special?
Boiled wool, also known as virgin wool, is a natural fiber. The hollow spaces allow the wool to breathe and circulate temperature. This balances the temperature, keeping you cool but also warm (well below freezing). The hollow spaces also absorb moisture, keeping the body dry.
This means that the body temperature is regulated. The child sweats but doesn't freeze. Thus, the child is optimally protected from all weather conditions and is very comfortable to wear.
